What would you do if confronted by an attacker? The reality is that 5 in 6 people will be victims of either completed or attempted violent crimes at least once in their life (Koppel 1987). An estimated 1,417,745 violent crimes occurred nationwide in 2006. When crime data from 2006 was compared to 2005, the volume of violent crime increase nearly 2 percent.
Our “Protective Thinking” program educates and trains on the importance of being aware of your surroundings, preparedness thinking and specific gross motor skills. The program is a three part series consisting of ProActive, ReActive and Ground Survival.
